Ben Stiller interested in setting up Neighborhood Watch

*Ben Stiller could next star in sci-fi comedy*_*Neighborhood Watch.*_

He's been offered a role as a dad in a group of dads who establish a
neighbourhood watch group in order to get away from their families.

Hi-jinks occur when they discover a plot to destroy the world.

_Saturday Night Live_ writer Akiva Schaffer has been offered the
chance to direct the film by 20th Century Fox, though he’s yet
to sign on.

It’s unknown whether or not Schaffer will do his own rewrite of
the script after Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg were recently brought in
to take a pass at the material.

Either way, _Neighborhood Watch_ could be a fun departure for Stiller,
who’s not exactly known for his sci-fi movies.
